I am an integrated graphic designer with over 5 years experience within the design field, and I'm on a mission to save clients from design peril!I am a graphic designer by trade with a range of strings to my bow with experience of working with brand new start ups - right up to global business groups. Having recently moved to London, I am looking to work with design agencies or marketing teams, as well as seeking my fortune and discovering if the legend really is true and the streets are paved in gold... I like to feel that within my portfolio I have a little something for everyone from brochures and tenders, to reports, direct mail, infographics and social media layouts, I've done it all! Specialising in graphic design, I have been building my design and commercial experience since 2010, through an internship, full time positions as part of a marketing and communications teams within business groups and charities, and I officially went freelance in March 2014. I have worked with a variety of clients including the Cordant Group, Leica Geosystems, Quest Nutrition, the Equality and Human Rights Commission, political think tank IPPR and most recently Festival Republic, the company responsible for organising some of the UK's biggest music festival. I have also worked in filmmaking and post production whilst sailing the seven seas as a cruise ship videographer. Over the past few years I have developed a highly stylised and contemporary approach to illustration.I do them just for fun, breaking images down to simple forms and experimenting with colour to bring an image to life. The majority of the illustrations I produce are created by hand with finalisations made using Adobe Illustrator. Recently I have started experimenting with vector based drawings and am definitely pleased with the results, yet whilst I enjoy this new approach, when it comes to illustration I think I will always be a traditionalist at heart and start off with good old pencil and paper. As creator of these illustrations, I therefore hold the copyright of these images. I find that my contemporary style appeals to everyone, with some of my images selected to be used as part of a collection of children's invitations available online. What makes me stand out from the crowd?Now there's a question! Apart from the arty stuff (more on that later!)
